Andrew Aversa (zircon)

A specialist in electronic music, synthesis, and sound design, Philadelphia-based composer & producer Andrew Aversa (aka zircon) has been writing fresh electronic music since 2002. His award-winning songs have been featured on several commercial albums, broadcast radio, video game soundtracks, and podcasts. He has also arranged and remixed a wide variety of soundtrack music and regularly releases non-commercial productions. Though coming from a classical background in piano performance, Andrew turned to composition, production, and more modern types of music while in high school. By the time he finished his senior year, he had completed two full-length albums, one of which went on to win "Best Techno Album" of 2006 at the prestigous independent award festival, the Just Plain Folks Music Awards.
